Welcome to the Official Prescot Hockey Club Website. Prescot Hockey Club has been established over fifty years. The club plays competitive hockey across the North West and North Wales. Members range from age 9 to 66, and there are over 120 active members.

Junior development is the key to its success, regular training sessions led by experienced qualified coaches under the guidance of its Volunteer Junior Development Officer. Another fundamental element is the volunteers who manage and run the club.

The club has coached extensively in schools and colleges over the last five years. In 2005 Prescot HC coaches managed the St Helens school teams at the Merseyside Youth Games and secured two silver and two bronze medals.

Prescot Hockey Club were the second hockey club in the North West to secure Club Mark accreditation in November 2004. Last season the Ladies and Mens 1st team won their leagues, winning promotion to North Division 2 (West) and NWHL Division 2 respectively. Other notable achievements were Ladies 1st team winning the Lancashire Club tournament and earning the honour of representing Lancashire in the North Tournament.

In summary, Prescot Hockey Club has a dedicated volunteer Management Committee that represents the whole club and which seeks to develop all members in their chosen skillset, be that Umpiring, Coaching or player development at County trials. It is an open club which believes strongly that the process of learning and having fun is as important as winning.
